She will be reading from' and signing her children's book "Why Kings and Queens Don't Wear Crowns", at three F/M locations. The Sons of Norway, Concordia College, Oak Grove Lutheran, School and Stabo Scandinavian Imports are hosting the Princess and are holding several public events for people to listen to her presentation and read from her book. Princess Martha Louise will have two reading and book signings at the Sons of Norway Kringen Lodge from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 pm., Monday April 17. Books for the signing will be for sale at the Sons of Norway during the events. On Tuesday April 18, the princess will be at Oak Grove Lutheran Elementary School from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. and will be the guest of honor at a festival event titled "A Continuum of Education" at Concordia that evening beginning at 6 p.m. This event will also include a reception, performances by The Concordia Choir, The Concordia College Band and Oak Grove choirs followed by the royal presentation by the Princess. "Why Kings and Queens Don't Wear Crowns" is a whimsical children' s book based on the early childhood of Princess Martha Louise's grandfather, the late King Olav the V, who had trouble keeping his crown on his head as a young prince. Princess Martha Louise will talk about her royal childhood and read from her book during the presentation. .The princess is touring 20 U.S cities during the month of April.
